Green Thumb Chieftains at the Christmas Chute(SPS) -- Sapulpa's Route 66 Christmas Chute, which became world-renowned in its inaugural 2022 season, is back and even better! Record-breaking crowds are pouring into Sapulpa to experience the holiday magic.

Sapulpa student organizations have been at the Christmas Chute since it opened, providing volunteer services, entertainment, or holding fundraisers.

The Sapulpa Green Thumb Chieftains sold handmade gifts, Jefferson Heights Elementary helped visitors design Christmas ornaments, the Special Education Department made reindeer food, the Indian Education Department put up a tepee display, and Holmes Park Elementary Kiwanis K-Kids helped clean up along Dewey. And that's just to name a few!

SPS groups will take part in the Sapulpa Christmas Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 16. Click here for a complete calendar of Route 66 Christmas Chute events.

Sapulpa Public Schools is proud to participate in the Route 66 Christmas Chute and celebrate the community spirit of our city throughout the holiday season!
