Sapulpa celebrates Fall Homecoming

(SPS) -- UPDATE, Oct 21. -- Congratulations to Daniah Blation, crowned Homecoming Queen before Friday's game. She was escorted by senior Jayden Williams. The Chieftains went on to defeat Memorial, 47-14.

Chieftains will soon kick off fall Homecoming, and a week of festivities is planned to celebrate team spirit, Sapulpa alumni and the community!

High School Dress-Up Days begin Monday, Oct. 17 and the week concludes with the football game against Memorial at Collins Stadium.

Below is the schedule of dress-up days so you can plan your outfits accordingly:
Monday, Oct. 17 - Socks, Crocs and Birkenstocks
Tuesday, Oct. 18 - Surfers vs. Bikers
Wednesday, Oct. 19 - Dress up like the first letter of your name
Thursday, Oct. 20 - Pair up with "Twin-o-nym"
Friday, Oct. 21 - Chieftain Spirit Day

Homecoming gets into full swing on Thursday, October 20, with the annual parade. It begins at 6:00 p.m. at Dewey just east of the courthouse and will continue down Dewey to the high school. This location and route is subject to change.

 - Parade on Dewey (note new time, location and route subject to change)
Friday, Oct. 21:
12:15 p.m. - Student Assembly at Shaw Auditorium
6:30 p.m. - Processional and Coronation at Collins Stadium
7:00 p.m. - Kickoff vs. Memorial at Collins Stadium
