Thank you for visiting our Summer Programs page. Below is the curriculum for the summer of 2023.

We continue to work out the details on some of these programs, so the information below is subject to change.

There will be NO SUMMER PROGRAMS on Monday, June 19, Monday, July 3 or Tuesday, July 4.
 
  • Academic Programs (Summer School for students entering 10th through 12th grades)
    • For students who are seeking Credit Recovery courses and for students who want to accelerate learning with first-time credit. The cost for Credit Recovery is $50. First-time credit courses are free.
    • Classes are two sessions:
    • Session 1: May 22 through June 23, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • Session 2: June 26 through July 27, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • Students must attend session 1 to be eligible for session 2.
    • Students must attend three hours per week on site at Sapulpa High School room 402.
    • The deadline to register is Thursday, May 18 at 3:00 p.m. Please fill out the registration form and use the Buy Now button below to pay for Credit Recovery courses. No classes June 19, July 3 or July 4.

  • Academic Programs (Junior High) - Students will be identified and contacted to participate. The session will be June 5 through June 29. Classes will take place Monday through Thursday at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. It will be located at Sapulpa Junior High School. No classes June 19.

  • Academic Programs (Middle School) - Students will be identified and contacted to participate. The session will be June 5 through June 29. Classes will take place Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. It will be located at Sapulpa Middle School. No classes June 19. 
  • Athletic camps - Please visit our Summer Camps page for dates and registration information.
  • Book and Snack Mobile - The Book and Snack Mobile is a converted school bus that has been gutted and replaced with shelves containing books, a refrigerator to hold cold water, and cabinets to stock snacks all in an effort to keep children reading and fed throughout the summer months. It will travel around the community to select locations June 5 through July 27. Click here for the complete schedule.
  • Camp Invention - Camp Invention is offered to students entering Kindergarten through 6th grades who have an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). This camp will be hosted at Holmes Park Elementary Monday through Thursday, June 12 through June 15. Camp Invention is already full for Summer 2023.   • Driver's Education (enrollment now open) 
    •  Students must be 15 and a half years of age before starting the course
    • Cost: $200
    • Classes are two sessions:
    • Session 1: May/June - Times TBD
    • Session 2: July - Times TBD

  • English Learners - The English Learner Summer Camp for grades Pre-K through 5th grade will be held Monday through Thursday at Holmes Park Elementary June 5 through June 29. Times for the camp are 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This academy is based on whether your child receives EL services throughout the school year. If your child has been selected for this program, you will receive an enrollment form. No classes June 19.
  • Extended School Year - Extended School Year is a program for special education students who currently attend Sapulpa Public Schools and are recommended by the IEP team for ESY school services. ESY will be held on June 5 through June 29, Monday  through Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at Holmes Park Elementary.   • First Tee - Free golf lessons for students age 8 and up through First Tee are offered at Rock Creek Golf Course in Sapulpa. Classes are held on Thursdays, starting June 8 for 8 weeks, with the exception of July 6. The 8-11 class is held 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and the 12-18 class is held 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Register using one of the forms below.
  • Sapulpa Arts Explore - Hosted by Sapulpa Arts and Humanities Foundation, Arts Explore is for students entering 2nd through 8th grades from July 17 through July 21 at Holmes Park Elementary between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Enrollment is limited and the cost of the camp is $80. Enrollment forms are coming soon. For more details email [email protected]. This year's theme is Australia!
  • School Zone - School Zone is a two-day camp offered to incoming 6th grade students to Sapulpa Middle School. It will be held August 7 and 8, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Online registration will open August 1 and in-person enrollment will be Friday, August 4, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For more information contact Amy Warner at [email protected].
  • SPARK - Summer Spark will be offered during the summer of 2023. Spark will be open for students in PK through 5th grades at Holmes Park Elementary May 31 through July 21. The hours of operation will be 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Spark will not be available on June 19, July 3 or July 4.
    • Print and fill out this registration form and bring it to ENROLLMENT DAY for Sapulpa district students on Thursday, May 11, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Holmes Park Elementary
    • Registration forms will not be accepted prior to the enrollment day on May 11. If you cannot make enrollment day, please bring your form to the enrollment center at 511 E. Lee Ave during business hours after May 11.

  • Summer Feeding Program - Summer meals will be provided free of charge Monday through Friday at Holmes Park Elementary between 8 and 9 a.m. for breakfast, and 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for lunch, May 31 to July 21. No meals will be served June 19, July 3 and July 4. Children age 18 and under are welcome to join both meal services. Adult meals will not be served. Menus.

  • Summer Splash Reading Academy - Summer Splash Reading Academy for grades kindergarten through 3rd grade will be held Monday through Thursday at Holmes Park Elementary June 5 through June 29. Students may arrive at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and the program is 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This academy is based on teacher recommendation. If your child has been selected for this program, you will receive an enrollment form by the end of May. No program on June 19.
