(SPS) -- The district is carefully monitoring a very active winter weather pattern beginning early Friday morning (Jan. 12) through early next week. Temperatures are expected to be bitterly cold, with dangerous wind chills, and frozen precipitation is a possibility. It is our top priority to ensure students’ and employee safety on the way to school.
In the event of a distance learning or snow day, we will notify you as soon as possible via call, email, district website and local media. Distance learning menus have been sent home with our elementary students, and secondary students are expected to log in to their Schoology accounts and complete the instructions posted by their teachers.

There is no school on Monday, January 15, 2024, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
