(SPS) -- Sapulpa's Special Education Department hosted the third annual Special Chieftain Day on May 1 at George F. Collins Stadium. The day included track events, carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, and much more. Approximately 100 Special Chieftain Athletes in PreK through 12th grades competed alongside peer tutors from the Sapulpa Ping Ping Dance Team, Sapulpa Chieftains Basketball, Sapulpa Chieftains Boys Soccer, Sapulpa Baseball, the Theater Department, Art Department, and other high school groups.
