This is the second in a series of meetings between a group of Sapulpa Public Schools administrators and Sapulpa High School and Junior High teachers and architectural firms to discuss the design of the new high school campus.

Demolition began on the future site for the Westside Baseball and Softball complex, less than 24 hours after the Sapulpa Public Schools Board of Education approved a demolition team and construction management firm to oversee the project.

Sapulpa-based firm D.C. Bass & Sons Construction was chosen from among seven proposals.

A group of Sapulpa Public Schools administrators and Sapulpa High School and Junior High teachers met with architectural firms Reed Architecture and Interiors and DLR Group to discuss needs for a new high school campus.

Sapulpa Public Schools Board of Education approved a resolution to authorize the first sale of the District's General Obligation Building Bonds.

"What Sapulpa voters did was amazing," said Johnny Bilby, Sapulpa Public Schools Assistant Superintendent, the morning after voters passed an historic bond election for the district. "This will change lives for the next sixty to seventy years."
