The Edward E. and Helen Turner Bartlett Foundation has awarded $317,150 in grant funding to Sapulpa Public Schools. The Board of Education approved the grants at Monday’s Board of Education meeting.

The Sapulpa Public School Foundation has awarded a total of $43,502.92 in teacher grants, split among 57 teachers across the district.

The expansion includes auxiliary gyms and an end zone project at George F. Collins Stadium.

After finishing second in District 6AII, region 2, the Chieftains head to the state playoffs.

The longstanding Highway 97 Rivalry sees the Chieftains meeting the Sandites on the football field for the 99th time.
