(SPS) -- Sapulpa Public Schools will continue a district-wide kindness initiative throughout the school year. Each Thursday is designated "Thoughtful Thursday," during which students at every school site will see and discuss kindness in action.

In the latest installment of Thoughtful Thursdays, students learn that strong communities are filled with citizens who perform acts of service for one another. Acts of service are as simple as picking up trash or as impactful as serving in the military.

The goal of this week's Kindness 101 presentation, as always, is to show students that kindness is our culture, and that their words and actions can positively impact our community 365 days a year.
