(SPS) -- The district is providing special Game Day parking and shuttle service for this Friday's 100th Highway 97 Rivalry football game vs. Sand Springs, presented by American Heritage Bank.
Due to ongoing construction around George F. Collins Stadium, we strongly urge fans to park at First Baptist Church or First Christian Church, along Park Street between Lee Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, then take a shuttle to the stadium.
You will catch the SPS shuttle between 5:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at pick-up locations along Park Street between Lee and Lincoln. The shuttles run continuously during these times. You'll be dropped off in the parking lot near the stadium. Shuttles will run continuously for 30 minutes following the end of the game, and you may get on the shuttle in the high school lot where you were dropped off.
Handicap and reserved parking spaces are located in front of the stadium. General parking is very limited to the north of the stadium due to construction. Student groups and game workers will park south of the stadium. Please see the maps for reference.
The clear bag policy is in effect.
All game tickets are $10. All students must wear their ID badge or be accompanied by an adult. Click to purchase tickets.
Sapulpa Public School is also holding a Coin Drive to fundraise for Tulsa Area United Way. The Coin Drive is a friendly competition with the Sandites! You may donate coins at the game on Friday, September 4 at Collins Stadium, where Tulsa Area United Way will set up a booth. The winner of the Coin Drive will be announced sometime during the week after the game.
Tulsa Area United Way helps fund local agencies that benefit Creek County residents in need, including Caring Community Friends and the Sapulpa Public Schools Book and Snack Mobile; the annual Back to School Bash; Youth Services of Creek County; Creek County Literacy Program; The Salvation Army; and Show, Inc.
Year after year, Sapulpa Public Schools and our school sites are some of the largest donors to the United Way's annual giving campaign.
