(SPS) -- Sapulpa Public Schools is continuing our district-wide kindness initiative throughout the school year. Each Thursday is designated "Thoughtful Thursday," during which students at every school site will see and discuss kindness in action.

In the latest installment of Thoughtful Thursdays, students learn that being neighborly is more than just looking out for people who live nearby. It's how we show care and respect towards anyone in our community. Students meet a woman who unexpectedly shared dinner with a group of young men who became unexpected friends.

The goal of this week's Kindness 101 presentation, as always, is to show students that kindness is our culture, and that their words and actions can positively impact our community 365 days a year.
