(SPS) -- Our Business & Entrepreneurship students traded the classroom for a construction site to see what it takes to build something BIG. They learned that it takes a whole lot more than a hammer and a hard hat!

Students explored the many different careers and skilled professionals involved in a major construction project, from the people designing and planning to the teams bringing those plans to reality.

And, of course, they were excited to see what’s coming! Students got a sneak peek at the new cafeteria, commons area, Performing Arts Center, dramatic entrance, and new spaces for core classes.

It’s one thing to learn about business, construction, design, and career opportunities. It’s another to see them being built right in front of you.
