Parking changes at Sapulpa High School and Sapulpa Junior High for 2026-27

(SPS) -- We are at the height of construction at the new Sapulpa High School. As a result, parking will be constrained for this year and next. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the tremendous progress happening at the campus.

As we build Sapulpa's future, we ask you to bear with us for some temporary growing pains. We encourage car pooling, riding the bus, and student drop-off if possible to help reduce parking issues throughout the school year.

The following parking changes are in effect starting August, 2026:

Parking

  1. No parking or pedestrians in construction areas, in red-shaded areas shown on the map above. No parking areas now include:
    - The lot north of the tennis court, east of Chieftain Center and south of Collins Stadium
    - The former gravel lot south of the band hall
    - The former gravel lot north of Collins Stadium

  2. Green-shaded areas are designated parking areas.

  3. Student parking is available by permit only in these designated areas:
    - West of Collins Stadium
    - Northwest of the high school off Hobson & Mission behind Domino's and Adams & Dewey west of Holmes Park Elementary

  4. Holmes Park front lots are designated staff only.

  5. Parking is first come, first served. Visitor spaces are marked near the high school entry. SHS students may purchase parking permits at Chromebook pickup.

Entrance/Exit

  1. Dewey from Mission remains closed, but the parking area west of Holmes Park is accessible if you get to Dewey from Adams or Watchorn.

  2. Adams is a two-way road.

  3. Entrance for drop-off and pick-up at the High School and Junior High is only off of Dewey. There are no other entry points.

  4. Exit only back north to Dewey. Cars may exit south to Lincoln in the afternoon once buses clear.

School Offices

  1. SHS office remains in the 400 hall south of the AG hall.

  2. Junior High office remains north of the band hall.

Sapulpa Public Schools is proud to serve your students. We invite you to follow along with the progress happening at the state-of-the-art Sapulpa High School campus, which is the largest project in the bond initiative approved by our community.

The first day of school is Thursday, August 20. We can't wait to welcome our students for another fantastic year of growth and learning.
