SHS Robotics Team With Banner

(SPS) -- The Sapulpa High School Robotics Team is once again headed to the world FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas, after winning the Greater Kansas City Qualifier Tournament. The Sapulpa team "2333," with their robot, emblazoned with the Route 66 team and a shout-out to the Bartlett Foundation, will compete in the FIRST Championship April 29 through May 2. The competition will be streamed live beginning April 29.

Thank you to the Edward E. and Helen Turner Bartlett Foundation for the grant to fund this innovative and challenging program.

This accomplished team of students is led by SHS STEM instructor Ken Cole and coach Christine Linder.

High school students from more than 600 teams will head to Houston with robots they have designed, programmed and built themselves. The SHS robotics team last attended the world FIRST Championship in 2023.
