(SPS) -- The Sapulpa Times and organizers of the Route 66 Christmas Chute told Sapulpa Public Schools on Tuesday that the "Today Show" will come to Sapulpa on Friday, December 23, to showcase our community's unmatched Christmas spirit!
The Route 66 Christmas Chute has brought holiday joy and national attention to downtown Sapulpa throughout the Christmas season, leading to nominations for the "Merriest Main Street" featured on "Today."
Sapulpans bundled up and joined our Sapulpa High School Jazz Choir and alumni for the "Today Show" report at the Christmas Chute on Friday. KJRH Tulsa's Julie Chin reported on the celebration.
Folks braved the single-digit temps and brought lots of holiday cheer to show why Sapulpa is the Merriest Main Street in the U.S.A.!
