(SPS) -- Sapulpa Public Schools will continue a district-wide kindness initiative throughout the school year. Each Thursday is designated "Thoughtful Thursday," during which students at every school site will see and discuss kindness in action.

In the fifth installment of Thoughtful Thursdays, students will talk about the power of small acts of kindness, as modeled by a young boy determined to spread joy in his community after he faced a great loss.

The goal of this week's Kindness 101 presentation, as always, is to show students that kindness is our culture, and that their words and actions can positively impact our community 365 days a year.
