Sapulpa names Shawn Jones head wrestling coach

Shawn Jones, Head Wrestling Coach(SPS) -- Sapulpa High School is proud to announce the return of Shawn Jones as Head Wrestling Coach. A titan in Oklahoma wrestling, Jones brings a championship legacy back to the Chieftains' wrestling program.

Jones is best known for his 14-year tenure at Broken Arrow High School, where he led the Tigers to nine team state championships and coached 23 individual state champions. Jones previously served as Sapulpa's head wrestling coach before his historic run at Broken Arrow.

"We are thrilled to welcome Coach Jones back to Sapulpa," said Michael Rose, Sapulpa Public Schools Athletic Director. "His track record of excellence and his commitment to developing student-athletes are unmatched. He knows our community and knows how to build a winning culture."
