(SPS) -- Welcome to Sapulpa Public Schools, where educators will follow the motto "One Team, One Dream" for the next school year. With the passage of the Chieftain Stronger bond issue last year, Sapulpa Public Schools will see a great deal of building and growth over the next nine months and beyond.
New Teacher Orientation for the 2024-25 school year took place August 5 through 7 as the district welcomed more than three dozen new teachers.
Orientation features a walk-through of the learning management system, Google Suite, Chromebooks, and much more as the new staff members prepare for their new classes.
Sapulpa Public Schools also welcomes new administrators and administrative changes. Cade Colburn joins Holmes Park Elementary as Assistant Principal; Coy Caviness joins Sapulpa Middle School as Assistant Principal; and Jason Gray joins the district as Assistant Transportation Director.
Ashley Tselee moves from Bartlett Academy to the Educational Pathways program, where she will be the College and Career Readiness Coordinator. Jennifer Hudgins moves from Sapulpa High School to an administrative role as principal of Bartlett Academy.
20-year Sapulpa teacher Jeremy Lusk will move to Sapulpa Junior High as Assistant Principal; Amber Robertson begins her first full school year as Assistant Principal at Jefferson Heights Elementary; and Kristi Carter will take on the Assistant Principal position at Holmes Park Elementary.
Sapulpa Public Schools also is proud to welcome more than a dozen new support employees. We are thrilled you're part of the Chieftain family!
