Changes to SHS, SJH student drop-off and pick-up

(SPS) -- The Chieftain Stronger High School project is shifting into high gear! Effective January 6, 2025, when Sapulpa Public Schools returns from Winter Break, the entrance to Sapulpa Junior High School off of Mission Street, as well as Sapulpa High School, will be closed. SHS front parking and Sapulpa Junior High visitor parking will not be accessible. This is to prepare for demolition of the high school and construction of the new building.

January 6, 2025 - May 21, 2025 
- The Sapulpa High School parking lot along Mission Street will be closed to incoming and outgoing traffic and staff/student parking.
- The Sapulpa Junior High School front entrance and visitor parking off Mission street will closed.
- Sapulpa Junior High student drop-off and pick-up entrance will be off of Lincoln at Woodlawn Annex, south of the campus. Cars may exit back onto Lincoln.
- Sapulpa Junior High's front office relocates to the east side of campus with an exterior entry near the blue canopies just north of the Band Hall.
- Sapulpa High School student drop-off and pick-up entrance will be off of Dewey on the northeast end of the SHS campus (back of the campus).
- Cars may exit: A. Back north onto Dewey; B. East to Watchorn; or C. South to Lincoln once school buses have cleared.
- All other entries to the back of the campus (off of Watchorn and Lincoln) are EXIT ONLY, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Do not block drop-off/pick-up zones and exit routes.
- Buses will line up south of the Band Hall, on the road just west of Chieftain Center.
- SHS front office remains open in its current location.
- Deliveries, visitors and vendors only may use the front SHS campus parking lot entrance along Dewey.
- Limited SHS front parking is reserved for deliveries, visitors and vendors only; staff and students park in designated areas behind the high school.
