In the fall of 2022, Sapulpa Public Schools began a series of community and district meetings to help develop a potential 2023 bond proposal to fund the building of a new High School.
Following the meetings, which include interactive feedback and surveys from teachers, parents, students, city and county leaders, and community members, SPS administration and an appointed long-range planning committee which includes a financial consultant, will put together a completed bond proposal resolution. That resolution will be considered by the Sapulpa Public Schools Board of Education, which will vote on it and decide when a bond issue should go before voters.

During their regular August meeting, the Sapulpa Public Schools Board unanimously approved awarding architectural services related to the design, bidding, and construction of the new High School project.

Sapulpa High School was built in 1961. The auditorium was constructed in 1963.
