Skye Walter, a 9th grader, is our Sapulpa Fine Arts Visual Arts Student of the Month for March. Skye is a model art student. She pays attention, is always willing to help her peers, and has a great attitude. Skye is outgoing and friendly, always has a smile on her face, easy to talk to, and kind to others. Her artwork is excellent. She excels at assignments in Art class. Her art teachers say they can't wait to see the growth she makes this semester after seeing what she accomplished last semester and for the years to come!

Luke Castleberry, a 12th grader in band, is our Sapulpa Performing Arts Student of the Month for March. Luke is one of the finest musicians band director Whitney Yokum says she's had the pleasure of teaching. He is an All-State musician and earned 1st chair this year in the OkMEA All-State Orchestra. He also has received superior ratings at district and state solo and ensemble contests. Luke has set a new standard for musicianship in our band program and has helped other students achieve higher levels of performance. Luke has recently been accepted in the University of North Texas College of Music and plans to pursue music.

The Visual Arts Student of the Month is Ella Davis, SHS senior. She is a multidisciplinary visual artist who excels in drawing, painting, and ceramics, and often spends extra time in the studio working to improve her craft. Ella supports her classmates and also assists special-needs adaptive students with their projects. She is known not only for her amazing artwork, but also her positive attitude and her ability to lift others up—making her a leader and a joy to be around.

Our Performing Arts Student of the month is J’Den Shaw. He is a Sapulpa High School junior who is passionate about theatre—especially the technical side—and consistently contributes by building sets and working on crew. J’Den is known for his strong support of classmates, bringing enthusiasm, encouragement, and positive energy to the entire team.

The Performing Arts Student of the month is Alli Fuller. She is a Sapulpa High School Senior who excels in the choir program at Sapulpa and has since middle school. She is a leader and sets an example for everyone else. She leads with grace and humility. She has a servant’s heart; always seeking the best for the whole group, not just herself. She encourages and coaches’ younger singers. She has been selected for All-State Choir for four years, which is a huge accomplishment and is a lead in this year’s musical.

The Visual Arts Student of the Month is Caydince Hutchins, a Sapulpa High School senior. Caydince has been active in ceramics for three years and her art teacher says she is an ideal student. She thrives for excellence in her craft, putting in extra hours inside and outside of class. She serves as a peer tutor and studio aide. She encourages others and helps with any task asked of her. Outside of school, she holds down a job and attends tech classes, which shows her work ethic and dedication to excellence in all aspects of her life.
