Notice: Addition of a bus
Affected riders: Riders of buses 01/36, 38, and 39
Affected transports: Both morning and afternoon routes
Reason: Reduce number of stops, riders, and distance for each bus

Attention Riders/Parents of Riders on Buses 01/36, 38, and 39:

Beginning Monday morning, December 12, 2022, we will add another bus (Bus 2) to reduce the number of students per bus as well as the number of stops. This also decreases the distance covered by each bus between stops.

Not all students on these routes will change buses. The changes could range from a minute or two, to several minutes.

The changes only affect riders on Buses 01/36, 38, and 39 with bus stops listed below. Below is Bus 2's route time and bus stop schedule, so that parents and guardians can adjust accordingly.

Pick up and drop off sites will not change. The only changes will be bus number and times for pick up and drop off.

By adding another bus to these routes, we believe this will allow for more efficient pick ups and drop offs. Reducing the number of students per bus should help alleviate disciplinary issues and produce a safer ride for both students and drivers.

The sooner we begin to implement these changes, the more time we have to make adjustments to affected routes. Any changes to pick up and drop off sites will be relayed between driver and rider, as well as parental/guardian notification. Please reach out to the transportation department with any questions about the changes to these bus routes.
