Chromebooks are an important part of our digital learning transformation.

All Sapulpa Public Schools students beginning in 3rd grade and continuing through 12th will be assigned a Chromebook. Elementary students will use the devices in the classroom only, while secondary students will have the opportunity to take their assigned device home.

Students should read and be familiar with the Student Chromebook Handbook which explains responsibilities, guidelines, and more.

The Student Technology Insurance Program (STIP) was established to give parents and students the ability to purchase insurance and provide Chrome Depot support for the Chromebooks.

If purchased, the insurance package will cover the repair or replacement costs of the Chromebook and charge cord. The cost of protection is only $25 and coverage lasts for one year. You may purchase insurance (cash or check) at the scheduled check-out time or by credit card using your child’s MySchoolBucks.com account.

The insurance program is voluntary, but families are highly encouraged to participate.

Please keep in mind that if insurance is not purchased at the time of device acceptance, parents/guardians are responsible for the full cost of any repair or replacement of all damage to or loss of the Chromebook and charge cord. Please read the details in the Chromebook Handbook to learn more about the various costs. Acts of intentional damage will NOT be covered by the insurance.

No student, under the age of 18, will be issued a device without a parent/guardian signature on the Chromebook Insurance Agreement (STIP) and the Student Chromebook Care Agreement documents.
