Sapulpa Public Schools celebrated a major milestone Friday with a traditional topping out ceremony at the site of the district’s new high school, marking the placement of the building’s final structural beam.

Sapulpa Public Schools announced the start of the Chieftain Athletics expansion, a key component of the largest bond package in district history.

The steel beam that will span the balcony at the future Sapulpa High School performing arts center is the largest of its kind Bennett Steel has constructed.

Effective Friday, August 1, through November 1, the only entrance to Sapulpa High School and Junior High before and after school will be off of Dewey.

New construction updates are effective January 6, 2025, when we return from Winter Break. Mission Street will be closed as well as the parking lot in front of the high school and junior high.

Over the next weeks and months, you'll see exciting things happening at the Sapulpa High School campus, as construction crews prepare the site for the new Sapulpa High School building.

The new Chieftain Baseball and Softball Complex is taking shape at Westside while Sapulpa Junior High's roof undergoes a major renovation.
