Mid-Winter Court 2023 chosen

(SPS) -- UPDATE: Senior Stailee Heard was crowned Queen of Mid-Winter Court on Tuesday night. Stailee is an involved student-athlete who plays for the Lady Chieftains varsity basketball team. She will attend Oklahoma State University next fall, where she has signed to play basketball with the Cowgirls. She is also active in the Native American Student Association and volunteers her time in the community and throughout the district. Congratulations, Stailee!

The Mid-Winter Court for 2023 has been chosen! Attendants and escorts will be announced, and the queen crowned, at the Tuesday, February 7, home basketball game against Bartlesville. The introductions and coronation will happen during halftime of the varsity boys' game. The girls' game starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys' game at 8:00 p.m. at Chieftain Center.
