(Update 10/31) -- Both girls' and boys' Cross Country teams came in 6th in the 5A division at the State meet at Edmond Santa Fe, with several runners beating their personal records. Congrats on a terrific season!
(SPS) -- Sapulpa runners fought strong wind at the Cross Country 5A Regionals Meet in Mustang on Saturday, but both varsity teams made it to the finish line to qualify for state!
The girls' team came in 4th overall and the boys' team came in 2nd. Runners Seriah Vess, Izsik Meza and Brian Slone were named All Region runners.
Both teams will run in the State Championship Meet at Edmond Santa Fe on Saturday, October 29. Girls will run at 10:15 a.m., and boys at 11:00 a.m., with the 5A Awards Ceremony set for 11:45.
