Students rehearse a scene from The Good Doctor(SPS) -- If you’re looking for live theater, you’re in luck.

The Sapulpa High School theater department is busy rehearsing lines, building a set, and designing costumes for its upcoming performance of The Good Doctor.

The Good Doctor is a classic comedy by Neil Simon based on several humorous stories written by Anton Chekov. It centers around a writer, who speaks to the audience and shares his writing with them, throughout one day.

The show will be open to the public on Friday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Shaw Auditorium on the campus of Sapulpa High School. Admission is free.

In addition to The Good Doctor, the students will perform their lip sync Why Do We Build the Wall? from the musical Hadestown.

On May 1, the students will travel to Moore to perform the lip sync at the Oklahoma Mini Festival.
