Kaleb Tuttle and Michael Rose(SPS) - With one day to go before Halloween, it was certainly no trick for junior Kaleb Tuttle as he was treated with the Sapulpa Chieftain Athletics Core Value Award for the month of October.

The award is given to the student-athlete who best exemplifies the values of Sapulpa Chieftains Athletics - character, humility, commitment, integrity, self-control, mental toughness, team, responsibility, honor, and service.

The winner is selected after nominations are submitted by the coaches and reviewed by the athletics department.

Kaleb won the award for his commitment to the Sapulpa Chieftains basketball team and his academics.

"Kaleb is truly Chieftain Strong. He is in the gym three days a week at 6 a.m., gives 110 percent every day in practice, and stays after practice. He is the most improved player on the team and is also committed in the classroom," said Athletic Director Michael Rose as he read from the nomination form.

The Core Value Award is sponsored by Tier One Lawn. Winners of the award receive a QuikTrip gift card courtesy of Tier One.
