(SPS) - Several of our Sapulpa Chieftains spring sports teams are vying for playoff positioning as the season winds down.

Boys Soccer is currently 3rd in District with a record of 4-2 and an overall record of 10-4. They have one game remaining and a chance to finish as high as second in District play.

Girls Soccer has the same District and overall records as the boys. The Lady Chieftains are also ranked 3rd in District. The girls could also finish as high as second following both teams showdown at Owasso Friday, April 20. Girls play at 6 p.m. followed by the boys at 8 p.m.

A win would mean playoffs for the first time in more than 10 years for both teams and a tie with the all-time record of 11 wins for the Girls' squad.
