Paint brushes(SPS) -- What electives do I want to take next year?

We still have a few months in the 2019-20 school year, but for those students currently in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, that’s a question that many may be asking as it’s getting close to enrollment time.

Sapulpa High School is hosting an Elective Fair on Feb. 18. During the event, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will learn about 17 elective courses that will be offered next year. It’s the first time the school has held a fair, with the goal being to better inform students of their future options.

It’s an all-day event - held at the high school - in which students will be broken into groups and spend 20 minutes listening to teachers and staff discuss the electives.

For the class of 2020, Feb. 18 will be a Virtual Day. They will not report to school. Instead, they will sign in on their Chrome Books and complete assignments online.

So, what are the classes students will hear about? Here’s a list.
