Third through fifth grade students from Sapulpa Public Schools competed in the District’s second annual Inventor’s Showcase on Tuesday, February 13th. Students designed and created original inventions to solve an everyday problem in their lives. Each school selected the top three inventions by grade level to advance to the district competition.
Winners from each of the four elementary schools spent the day orally presenting their inventions to a panel of judges. Students enjoyed Bot Ball demonstrations from Sapulpa’s 5th grade Project Sharp Program and also participated in hands-on STEM activities. The evening included the announcement of the top invention overall and the winning inventions in each grade level. Trophies were designed and created using a 3D printer by the Sapulpa High School Robotics Program. Winner’s also received a full scholarship to Camp Invention in June.
